Brief Answer:
Self limiting Adverse effects like loss of libido, possibly breast engorgement and tenderness.

Detailed Answer:
Hi, thanks for posting your concern in the HCM.
Overall Finasteride (Finabald) is quite safe. However, it has some side effects.
The most common adverse effects are loss of libido and breast engorgement and breast tenderness. In less than 1% of individuals it causes rash. However, that is self-limiting and disappears on withdrawal of the drug in most cases. However, libido disorder can persist even after discontinuation of the medicine. Incidence of hypersensitivity reactions like itching, rash, urticaria have also been reported. Another rare side effect is depression.
I have only mentioned the side effects of the medicine that are applicable for women. It can also cause ejaculation disorder among males and male breast cancer.
Now I think you know well about the side effects of the medicine. If you are satisfied with my answer, please close the thread and rate my answer.
