Question : I am suffering from Common cold since last 2-3 days with moderate fever and taking Augmentin DUO 625 for the same and I feel a bit better now.
But, along with this I've been prescribed to take Flucos 150 mg for the jock itch I am having and today is the date of taking the last dose of Flucos 150 and I've taken it as well but now I am a bit scared to take the dose of Augmentin DUO 625. I would like to know if this safe to take these two drugs simultaneously? I mean, I just wanna make sure these three drugs doesn't have any interactions?

                                    Brief Answer:
Yes, it is safe to take these medications simultaneously.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for your query.
1. These two medications can be safely taken together.
2. Augmentin Duo (amoxicillin + clavulanate) 625 mg and Flucos (fluconazole) 150 mg do not have any interactions.
3. It is true that anti-fungal medications tend to have higher drug interactions, but these are with other medications. It is good that you are aware of such problems with medications and have asked this question.
I hope that I have answered your query. If you have any more questions I will be available to answer them.
Regards.
