Question : Hi my wife has been diagnosed with rheumatoid aritihs , please advise if their is any side effect by using folitrax 10 mg once in a week and folvite 5 mg thrice in a week

Dear Sir,

Thank you for posting your query on HCM.

Well looking into your problem I would like to tell you that your doctor has prescribed right treatment . Folitrax needs continuous monitoring of liver functions and CBC which will be done every 3 months . You may get nausea and vomiting while taking this drug .Folic acid is a vitamin so no side effect for that . You should stick to this treatment only rather then ayurvedic one .
