Question : I was on gabapentin for about two years. It was prescribed to me because I had terrible leg and back problems. I ended up having a spine surgery. I had a spacer and 2 rods put in between L4 and L5. And also had a cist on my spine that was removed in April. My memory fells like its gone. Any advice??

I have read your question and understand your concerns.

As you may already know, memory loss is one of the side effects of Gabapentin use.

Unfortunately, there is no much to do about correcting this condition, besides stoping the drug.

It will take time for your memory functions to improve, vitamins B1,B6,B12 and healthy living could help in the process.
