Isosorbide is a vasodilator and like all vasodilator they have a common side effect of headache often severe, flushing of face and skin, postural hypotension that is drop of blood pressure upon standing, tachycardia, nausea, vomiting and nervousness. rarely can cause allergic reaction like rash.
