To bleed this felt a lot like my period but was a lilttle more lighter and quicker! Should I be worried? Does this mean I am pregnant? Or the pill has worked?

Brief Answer:
A side effect of the pill.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for writing to us about it.

I can understand your concerns.

Levonelle is an emergency contraceptive pill( I-pill ) and contains a hormone levonorgesterol in high doses.

Bleeding is a side effect of drug called withdrawal bleeding and due to high doses of hormone in it.

If you had it within 72 hrs. of unprotected sex, it is almost 96% effective in preventing pregnancy.

Bleeding is only a side effect of pill, whether it is working or not there is no relation in between bleeding and pregnancy.

Wait for your next menses.
