Question : I had been prescribed Lysinopril for high blood pressure, but have subsequently been taken off, as I had too much dizziness and my blood pressure seems to be fine, so it was too low on the medication, no matter how little I took. Anyway, how long does the dizziness from this medication continue, I have been totally off for a week now and still feel slightly lightheaded from time to time. Thank you for your help!

The effect of lisinopril will last for another couple of days. I would like to suggest to wait for a couple of days.

If the symptoms will persist then you should do the following exams to find out what is causing your symptoms:
- Blood work to exclude anemia
- Head and neck x-ray and ct scan
- Audiogram and ENT specialist consultation to exclude inner ear problems.
- Neurologist consultation
