What Are The Side Effects Of Lovenox?

Question: I had warfarin failure In May of 2016, I was then put on Lovenox and still am. my concern is how long can patients tolerate daily injections or can this drug be used long term?

Hello Ma'am

After going through the medical details provided by you I would like to tell you that if it's not bothersome for the patient to take daily injection then it can be continued for long term although its not accepted by many patients so they were switched back to some oral anticoagulant like EPIXABAN OR Rivaroxaban which are more convenient for the patients.

You can discuss this with your treating doctor.
