What Are The Side Effects Of Meftal Spas?

Question: I want to know, whether Meftal Spas reduces heavy flow during periods and what are its side effects? I would like to mention that this is my second period postpartum and its still heavy. Also, I would like to mention that before pregnancy my periods were regular and not so heavy and Iam going to take Meftal Spas for the first time as never felt the need for it. So wanted to check whether it has any side effects and what are they and when and how many times should it be taken during a day and can it be taken empty stomach?

You can take Meftal spas three time s day for 3 days.
It is best taken after a meal.
There are no major side effects at all.
It reduces pain during periods, but does not reduce the flow or bleeding.
To reduce the bleeding, you need to take combination of meftal spas with tranexamic acid , such as Trapic - MF.
It is best to consult your doctor and have a check up internally and ultrasound scan before taking the tablets.

Thank you for the reply. But Dr. I am not having any pain as such. Shall I still take it. I already talked to my Doctor and told her that my periods are heavy but I am not having any pain to which she prescribed Meftal Spas 3 tablets a day for 3 days. But you are saying that it wont reduce the flow if not taken with tranexamic acid. Then is it useless if I am taking only Meftal Spas if I am not having any pain?
