Question : i have bp since 3years and regularly using olmezest h40 tablets daily one....prolonged use of said medecine is there any problam of kidney failure in feature. is it safe drug or not..? present my bp is normal...give sugetion

Olmezest contains olmesartan which in fact has protective action on the kidneys. There is no problem if it is continued on long term basis; in fact it is beneficial. It is a safe medicine and would not make you prone to kidney failure.

It is good to hear that your present blood pressure is in control. Please keep salt intake restricted. Appropriate lifestyle changes are also essential.
