Question : I have been on prednisone for about 7 days. I started with 40mg and am now on 20mg. May arms and legs feel very weak. Is this a side effect. Also, my shoulders and neck muscles ache. Thank you

I need little clarification on change in dose. usually I don't prefer to change dose with in 7 days of treatment. If your physician has done it, then follow according to him.

Tiredness and and muscular pain are not know side effects of Prednisone . Better to get your blood pressure measurement done . should get blood pressure measurement more frequently than before.

muscular pain and tiredness could be incidental, take any pain killer that will reduce your symptoms.
