Question: Im taking proglyton for bilateral pcos..what are the side effects? Will it remove my acne? Will it remove the cysts?

I have gone through your query.Progyluton helps to reduce the symptoms of polycystic ovarian syndrome by giving ovaries break from producing follicles.Progyluton is a combined hormonal drug containing progesterone and estrogen in lesser dose.So doesnt work as a contraceptive.
It helps to regularize your menstrual cycle.It will help in decreasing the testosterones also.So facial hair growth will be reduced.But it wont help much in reducing acne.For some it can increase acne also.It also doesnt adress the problem of insulin resistance.You need to take an additional drug like metformin for insulin resistance.It wont remove the cyst also.
Side effects are comparatively lesser than contraceptive pills.Head ache,muscle cramps,abdominal pain,bloating,increase appetite,increase or decrease libido,increase in breast size are some side effects associated with the use of this.
