What Are The Side Effects Of Reclast Infusion ?
Question: I am scheduled for a Reclast infusion tomorrow. I had a kidney transplant in 1999 due to Polycystic Disease. I am wanting to know if the Reclast infusion will do more harm than good. I do have severe osteoporosis. Thank you.

What kind of adverse kidney function would you mean? I've read where one of the side effects is kidney failure. I do see a nephrologist every 4 months so he does keep a good watch on my kidney function. Up until a few months ago, the doctor would not let me take any type of treatment for the osteoporosis, then he seemed to think it would be okay. I trust my doctor, just wanting a second opinion. Thank you for responding so quickly.
