Brief Answer:
can not give a prescription here.

Detailed Answer:
Hello Dear XXXXXXX

Ofcourse, I remember you :)

Regestrone is a prescription drug and I understand that you require a valid prescription for this.

But I regret to say that this platform does not allow us to give a prescription for drugs.

I would suggest you to consult your local doctor for prescription.

Kindly mention what medicines you include in 'general medicines' so that I can filter out which one are prescription drugs and which are not.

Hope to hear from you soon.

Thanks.

Brief Answer:
Most drugs are prescription drugs.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for listing the drugs.

Find the details as below-

Azax-Azithromycin (Prescription drug)

Pantosec-Pantoprazole (prescription drug)

Cetrizine (OTC)

Cof-Q-dextromethorphan (prescription drug)

Nicip-plus-paracetamol+nimesulide (Nimesulide is controversial; drug banned in some countries)

Eldoper-loperamide (prescription drug)

Crocin-paracetamol (OTC)

May I also tell you that different countries have different drug rulings. What is available as OTC drug in XXXXXXX might be a prescription drug in UK.

So, to be on a safer side, it would be best that you carry a prescription for all the drugs you carry with you. This will avoid any unwanted troubles in your journey.

Hope this info helps you.

I wish you happy journey.

Always available to answer your health related queries anytime :)

Hoping for a positive feedback from you.

Thanks.

Brief Answer:
virtually no long term side effects.

Detailed Answer:
Hello again.

Dear XXXXXXX I can understand your concerns about side effects of the pills.

I would suggest you to continue with the same dose as you have started (that is one tablet per day) (as per your gynecologist's advise). To help you remember to take the drug, take it at around the same time of day every day that you are scheduled to take it.

Regarding side effects, the common side effects can be:
changes in appetite,
stomach upset,
diarrhea,
trouble sleeping occasionally.

Drink lots of water. You can take tablet pantosec if you have gastric upset.

There may be changes in the bleeding patterns, including heavy or light bleeding. However, these effects settle down in one or two cycles.

I would also like to tell you that these tablets are safe and there are virtually no long-term side effects.

You can continue it till the time you want to delay your periods. You will have the periods when you stop the drug.

Do not get nervous. Enjoy your trip :)

Wish you good health.

Take care.

Brief Answer:
dose can be raised from today itself.

Detailed Answer:
Hello again.

Dear,
Total 10mg in a day is what I prescribe to my patients.
So this would make two tablets (5mg each) in a day.
We start with one tablet initially to avoid gastric upset.
Two tablets a day can cause gastritis. So you can take tablet pantosec simultaneously, if you feel gastritis.

In my opinion, you can raise the dose to two tablets from today itself. You can take drug till the time you want to delay periods.

But as you are under face to face supervision of your local gynecologist, he/she would be a better guide for dose changes you make.

The ultimate goal is good health of patients :)

Hope this helps.

Thanks.
