rozavel F 5 and if there is a better medicine for cholestoral and triglycirides than rozavel
Detailed answer...
Hello,
Thanks or the query.
I have read your query and understand your concern.
This drug has combination of two drugs rosuvastatin 5 mg and fenofibrate 145 mg.
Rosuvastatin is a very good drug and is generally a very well tolerated drug.
Side effects include rise of liver enzymes and muscle pains.
Since the dose used in your case is minimum possible dose, chances of side effects seem unlikely.
You must keep on doing liver function tests every few weeks to see any adverse effect.
Tests done are LFT and CPK estimation.
In case of abnormal rise in their values, drug is stopped.
Very rarely there are chances of severe muscle damage called as rhabdomylosis.
This is very good combination drug and hence you keep continuing it.
No need to change the medicine.
I hope it helps, however you are most welcome to revert to me for any further query.
Best of luck
Thanks
