Hi

S Numlo 2.5 is one of the names given to a drug called amlodipine which can vary from 2.5mg to 10mg.
Amlodipine is used for high blood pressure and is in a group of medications called calcium channel antagonists. They work by stopping calcium from entering into the walls of the blood vessels. Since calcium tends to promote contraction or tightening of the blood vessels, by stopping the calcium from entering the medication allows the blood vessels to relax and in this way reduce the blood pressure.

Possible side effects include: swelling of the feet and ankles (can occur in 1.8% of persons taking the 2.5mg dose- approximately 2 out of 100 people ), headaches (7.3% at any dose), fatigue (4.5% at any dose), nausea (2.9 % at any dose), dizziness ( in 1.1% at your dose), flushing (0.7% at your dose), palpitations (0.7% at your dose).

It does not contain nitrates.
