What Are The Side Effects Of Thyronorm?

Question: My wife has taken 20 tablets of 50mg thyronorm. What are its side effects and what should i do in this situation

She should be observed.

Detailed Answer:
Welcome To HCM. I am Dr Anshul Varshney. I understand your concern.
At present what needs to be done is observation.
The primary treatment consists of gastric lavage and that has been performed.
So all unabsorbed drug must have been washed off.
However she needs to be kept under observation for at least 72 hours.
Vitals monitoring is very important in such cases.
There can be fluctuations in heart rate, blood pressure and body temperature.
If all goes well for 72 hours, she would be fine hopefully.
