Brief Answer:
Tryptomer (Amitriptyline)-pain relief

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thank you for your query. I can understand your concerns.

Etizolam ( Etizola ) is an anxiolytic and not essentially a drug for hypertension.

You might be having neuropathic pain on your left side hence your doctor has prescribed tryptomer (Amitriptyline-Tricyclic antidepressant) 10 mg daily.

Amitriptyline is a common prescription for peripheral neuropathy.

Duration of treatment will depend on your relief of symptoms and the cause of neuropathy.

If the cause of neuropathy is precisely identified e.g. diabetic neuropathy, control of diabetes will give you lasting relief and one can discontinue Amitriptyline.

If you have relief with this small dose of amitriptyline, you can continue but take it at bedtime because of sedative effects.

Brief Answer:
Esam-side effects

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thank you for your query. I can understand your concerns.

If your BP is controlled with small dose of S-Amlodipine (Esam) 2.5 mg, you are not having very high BP. One can have palpitations (increased heart beat )as side effect of Amlodipine.

Get your BP checked on lying as well as on standing (after 2 minutes) and to look for any drop of systolic blood pressure >10 mm hg (postural hypotension may cause tachycardia/palpitations). Also get an ECG done to rule out any arrhythmia, if possible during episode of rapid heart beat.
