Brief Answer:
These doses with beer may cause severe sedation and should be avoided

Detailed Answer:
Hello thanks for asking from HCM for your health related queries

Xanax is Alprazolam and the drug is a benzodiazepine drug. Beer consists of low amount of alcohol which is also a brain depressant substance as benzodiazepines. Taking both these substances together may result in severe sedation, sleepiness, dizziness, restlessness in some individuals. Both the drugs may result in additive effects and this should be avoided.

If you have taken 2 mg of Alprazolam along with beer then as per my opinion try not to repeat this in future again. If sedation occurs in severity then avoid driving and take proper rest. The combination at this dose is not fatal so no need to worry.

Thanks, Still if you suffer any symptoms report to ER. I hope this helps you. Please don't hesitate to ask again for more doubts.
