Brief Answer:
Reduction of medicines seems possible.

Detailed Answer:
Hi Mr XXXXXXX

Welcome to Healthcare Magic!

It is true that some patients of bipolar disorder need to take treatment for life, but for most of the others, medicines can either be stopped completely or tapered down, so that only one or two have to be taken lifelong.

From what you have described, it appears to me that in your case it is certainly possible to reduce the medicines , if you do have bipolar disorder. Whether medicines can be completely stopped or not, would require a detailed assessment. Please also keep in mind that bipolar disorder has a risk of recurrence and so the decision to stop medicines depends on a lot of factors like number of episodes, severity of episodes, family history, personal issues etc. Since you are in XXXXXXX I would suggest a consultation at Department of Psychiatry, Banaras Hindu University. I did my post-graduation there and I feel you will get better treatment there.

Please let me know if I can help you further.

Best wishes.
