Brief Answer:
Not a known side effect.

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

The official side effect profile of medications splits the side effects of medications into those that can possibly occur in 1 to 10% of persons (1 out of 100 to 10 out of 100) and those that can possibly occur in less than 1%.

Dementia is not listed as a possible side effect in either.

There was actually a medical study conducted in 2012, published in the International Journal of Alzheimer's disease that looked at the possible protective effect of meloxicam.

The study was exploring the possible protective effect of meloxicam.

I hope this helps.
