Brief Answer:
there is a connection

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Sjorgren's is far more common in patients with celiac disease than in the general population, so this is not something strange. If you have Sjogren-related symptoms then you should be checked for it. The symptoms are caused by the dryness of mucosal surfaces. There are blood tests which may indicated Sjogren's syndrome but a biopsy is the most definite test.

The treatment is symptomatic only. Sjogren does not reduce the life expectancy of patients.
