default
Posted on Mon, 15 May 2017
Question: I was just sitting and resting when all of a sudden my left eye crossed inward and I couldn't focus on anything. It seemed as if I couldn't concentrate on anything for about a minute or so and slowly my vision became double for about another minute. Then it came back. It all lasted for about 3-4 minutes?

Brief Answer:
Possible transitory ischaemic attack

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thank you for using HealthcareMagic to post your question.
I read it carefully and I understand your concern.

What you are describing seems like a transitory ischaemic attack. They are short episodes of lack of blood in some areas of the brain due to transitory blockage of small arteries.
Make sure your blood pressure is under control.
Check your lipids in the blood, diabetes and smoking and try to control them too...by eating healthy and low carb and low fat, stopping smoking and exercising at least 4-5 times/week.
If this situation repeat again, see your local doctor and run out all the necessary tests to rule out and control the above problems and others that may be the cause.

Hope this makes sense and is helpful.

Let me know if you have other questions or concerns.

Regards,
Dr.Papaqako
