Brief Answer:
where did you exactly saw the ants?

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting in HCM.

I didn't quite understand when you said you saw black ants in your urine?

Where did you exactly see them? They were in the urine or they came to the place where you passed urine?

Do you have symptoms like increased urine output?

Or you have to get up in night to pass urine multiple times?

Or itching in genital areas?

Kindly answer me above questions so I can guide you better.
Thank you

Whenever I eat sweets I found more number of black ants in the toilet pan and other times lesser in quantity.I don't normally wake up for urination in the night.Sometimes I do wake up for urination when urge is more.I don't have itching problem always but sometimes it is too much and it happens in the morning time. One thing I observed some times I found more quantity of urine ,that time I found little pain in my genital.

Brief Answer:
then do not worry. ignore the ants part

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for following up with me and answering my questions.
So according to the answers and the query you mentioned, you have already got your blood and urine checked for sugars and both have come in normal range.
Usually it is believed that ants around urine means urine is sweet and it could mean a diabetic person's urine. But there is nothing like that.
Ants are also attracted to the other components of urine like the ammonia and minerals.
As you have checked and there is no sugar in urine I do not feel any need to be worried of it.
Your answers in second reply also are nothing abnormal. The pain during passing more urine is just because of forceful dilation of the urethra due to increased quantity of urine. Nothing to be worried of in that.
So to end my answer I will say that do not worry about the ants. You don't have diabetes if the blood report and urine report say so. Neither do your symptoms point towards it.
I hope I have answered your query well.
If you have any questions kindly ask me back.
Thank you

Brief Answer:
You already tested for urine sugar which was normal. Dont worry

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I am very sorry am replying very late. Had been caught up.
Mostly when the lab report has come negative for sugars in urine, its pretty sure that you don't have diabetes.
But still if you want to sure, you can get dipstick from pharmacy which should be dipped in urine and if sugar is present it will change its colour.
But its crude method of checking sugar in urine. Lab test is more sensitive and specific. But this is a way to test for urine sugars at home.
I hope I have answered your query well.
If you have any questions kindly ask me back.
Thank you
