Hello dear. Liver cancer can be of two types. Primary, which originates in liver aand secondary, which originates elsewhere and spreads to liver. A primary liver cancer can spread to other parts of body like lungs, nodes, abdomen. The extent of spread can be seen by a petct scan or a normal ct scan as well. Best treatment is done by surgery or liver transplant if it is localized to liver and small in size. In that case we can think of possible cure. If it has spread to other areas then only targetted therapy can be given. Survival rate will be around 9 months. Treatment can be done at any Centre entertaining more than 30 cases in an year.
