Brief Answer:
Hello. It is unlikely

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear. I have gone through the details. Its very unlikely for an inflammed papillae to become cancerous. By the time, oral cavity cancer are detected, they are bigger n irregular in size. Moreover, they rarely originate from papillas.
Thanks and regards
