What Are The Signs And Symptoms Of Rosacea?

default
Posted on Mon, 3 Apr 2017
Question: I have demodex mites which I can see as white tube like carcases and red- brown oval shapes that crawl back into my skin( on face) if I try to squeeze the mite out of a pore. I have also seen a straight line of brown coming out of my skin and on my skin. My dermatologist does not believe me and says I have rosacea. I am frantic with itching on my face, in my ears, in my nose and in my hair. I use tea tree oil shampoo, but I still have the mites. can you help me?

Brief Answer:
you can apply Ivermectin 1% cream

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thank you for the query at HealthcareMagic

Dermodex mite infestation is commonly associated with rosacea.

The presence of mites can be confirmed by microscopic examination of skin scrapings.

Topical Ivermectin 1% cream (Soolantra) have shown to eliminate the mites and decrease symptoms of rosacea.

Please follow up with your doctor to discuss the possibility and further evaluation and management.

Hope I was able to answer your question
