What Are The Signs And Symptoms Of Viral Fever?
Question: Had fever along with muscle pain and body ache, red sore eyes, all the usual stuff you end up with when having a viral fever - again something quite normal this time of the year as the season changes plus almost everyone seems to be having it. Paracetamol helped a little. Sat in the sun yesterday to warm up. Fever returned in the evening. Had light dinner and popped some pills the pharmacists gave dad. Ciprowin 500 and Nicip. Woke up fresh but have a rash on the right side of my face. I didn't bother much considering I felt pretty good. The pharmacists had instructed dad to ensure I take at least 3 doses so I just finished the 3rd dose but now am a little concerned. Are these the wrong med combinations or am I just having an allergic reaction or is there more to it?

I understand your concern and situation.
Firstly I would suggest you not to take any medicine without doctors consultation. It appears you are having viral infection and lesion could be due to low platelets, allergic or due to viral infection. You must take complete haemogram and urinalysis, dengue NS1/ IgM Antibody test, Malaria Smear and card test and blood culture sensitivity test for bacterial infection. I would like to see your platelets count to rule out Dengue fever. I suggest you to take crocin to relieve the fever. Take the antibiotics which you are taking for 5 days twice daily. Do tepid sponging to relieve fever. Follow up with your reports at earliest. Take chymoral forte with the medicines. Eat light and bland diet with multivitamins supplements.
