Question : How do I know if I have altered mental status? And what are the chances of getting help? Will I be able to travel on my own?

Hi,

If there is something that you can not remember during the day, we refer it to as altered mental status.

It can be clearly confirmed by anyone else who can observe you.

It is not at all preferable to travel alone.

You need to get evaluated with CT brain and all routine blood investigations along with electrolytes.
