Brief Answer:
Information

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX

There is nothing to be embarrassed about - it wasn't you who caused it.

Just so you know, doctors know that for each person who gets an STI from promiscuity and bad decisions, there are going to be partners who get it from them without having done anything wrong.

In addition, I don't think most of us give that aspect a lot of prolonged thought as we see these things so often.

But it is important for you to have number of tests done, whether you are having symptoms or not. And given that you are having symptoms, the sooner you are treated the better. Some of the STIs, if left untreated, can cause prolonged problems such as chronic pelvic inflammatory disease.

If you don't want to face your own personal doctor and have to tell him or her the story, you can go to a Planned Parenthood Clinic. These do a lot of testing for STIs, and are affordable.

I am really sorry about your husband's cheating. This must be turning your life upside down right now.
