Pain in the upper abdomen above belly button is the main symptom.It may radiate to the back .
It will be associated with vomiting, distension of abdomen.
In severe cases,difficulty in breathing is seen progressing to Adult respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS).
Recurrent attacks of Acute Pancreatitis leads to Chronic Pancreatitis, where Pain is the predominant symptom.
