Question : We are considering buying a house. The basement is partially unfinished and has open exposed fiberglass insulation in it in large areas where the insulation is turned outward & exposed not in toward the wall with the paper out and sheet rock over it. My son and I both have Asthma and often, severe allergies. Should the fiber glass insulation be removed before we move -in???? Thanks, Mrs. M. XXXXXXX
Brief Answer:
No need to worry for this.
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your question on HCM.
I can understand your concern.
But no need to worry for fiber glass installation.
It is well fixed and does not release allergen.
So no need to worry for allergen exposure.
Hence no need to worry for installation.
Hope I have solved your query.
I will be happy to help you further.
Wish you good health.
Thanks.
