What Are The Symptoms Of Cerebrospinal Fluid Infection?

Question: I went and saw doctor XXXXXXXXXXXX yesterday. have had bad headache, chills, nausea, tingling of face. She checked sugar okay, cbc showed wbc a little high. no upper respiratory symptoms but they also checked flu, strep, all negative. No fever but I'm concerned because 2 months ago they 5 ought I had CSF leak did cat scan didn't find leak. My question is do meningitis symptoms usually move rapidly, it's 4 days now, no fever. Doctor said it was probably a stomach virus still having symptoms. when should I be concerned?

If it is CSF infection it would be life threatening infection. So I don't think its CSF infection at all

In CSF infection patient may become unconscious which is not there in your case.

I suspect some kind of unknown viral infection in you.

Such viral infection may last for a week or two. Till that time taking the paracetamol will relieves your symptoms.

Make constant check on your symptoms, if you find anything unusual immediately to ER. Because such a unknown viral infection may show its grave look at any time.

The symptoms related to central nervous system like severe headache with vomiting, high fever, drowsiness. unconsciousness, disorientation, speech difficulty etc.
