-Demarkation line that can be seen between the healthy and gangrene region
-Discolouration of the part affected by gangrene
-Starts of with severe pain due to the tissues receiving poor blood; which is later followed by loss of sensation
-Sores can appear
-Discharge from sores (if present)
-The gangrene region will initially be warm to the touch (Especially when the pain is present), but later becomes cold (when the loss of sensation takes place)

Nephrotoxicity is especially seen when larger doses of the medication are administered (e.g. 10 mcg/ml or above).
