What Are The Symptoms Of Hernia?

Question: last night I was using a newly purchase ab carver pro, have only used it four other tiems in the past two weeks, last night on the second rep I noticed what feels like a tear in my lower left stomach area of what i would assume to be a hernia, as of yet nothing has bulged out, if i take it easy for few weeks like the area heal inself or could i need hernia surgery to repair the tear ??
Brief Answer:
Monitor for now!
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for this query.
I am so sorry to hear about this apparent tear that you have reported. As of now, we lack more information to suggest that this is a hernia that may require surgery especially with the lack of a protrusion. I will lean more towards a muscle tear and this should resolve within a few weeks. I will recommend that you take it easy and let's hope for spontaneous healing or more information to say it is hernia or not. Should you be in pains, please consider using Tylenol and Ibuprofen for relief.
I hope this helps. I wish you well. Thank you so much for using our services and feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.

the area is a bit tender, but does not have a constant pain, coughing, sneezing does not cause any discomfort, bowels working fine.
still concerned if it will heal by itself with a couple weeks of resting or not.
is there any better excerise to flatted my intestinal area or a way to loosen and stretch prior to using the excerise machine ?

Brief Answer:
It should heal all by itself!
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this follow up query.
I understand your fears on whether the healing would be spontaneous or not. In my humble opinion, rest would permit the injured tissue/muscle to heal fully. Should this fail, which would be very unlikely, we would actively work to get it sorted out. For the pains, pains medications as detailed above would be of help.
As for exercises, trainers are better place to train you on what different exercise to do in order to accomplish this goal. Talk to gym trainers about this and it would be addressed.
I wish you well and do let me know if there is something more you want us to talk of at this time.
