Brief Answer:
Canyon please rephrase your question?

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about this diagnosis. Are you trying to ask whether this is a disease condition? If that is your question, then the response is yes. Persons with lupus anticoagulant have the tendency to develop clots which explain the repeated pregnancy loss which you ahem just mentioned. If that wasn’t your exact question, please post it again.

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be. Above all, thanks for using our services.

Brief Answer:
What drugs are you on?

Detailed Answer:
HI,

I will like to know what drugs you are currently taking as your symptoms may be better explained by possible side effects of drugs used for treating a hyper coagulable state. I will factor this in before providing a comprehensive response to you.

Let rehear back from you at your earliest convenience and promise to respond promptly.

I take nothin

In reponse to thr question what do i take now, nothing for the lupus anticoagulant ,
The bruising comes on periodicaly. They dont hurt and usually my husband or kids let me know i have them on my back or legs. Being tired or very cold in 65 degree weather such ad today in NY is another annoying occurence. Is this related, and finaly do i have lupus or just some nameless auto immune disease. Thank you XXXXXXX XXXX

Brief Answer:
You don’t have lupus!

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

You don’t have lupus. Lupus anticoagulant refers to persons who have an autoimmune disorder characterized by the blood being more likely to clot that not. It has nothing to do with the disease lupus erythematosus.

This shouldn’t cause you to feel too cold in a relatively warm weather. Monitor this and should it continues then you would need evaluation. The most common cause of such a symptom is hypothyroidism. Consider getting TSH levels tested if this feeling continues.

I hope this addresses your worries. Let me know if you have any further concerns.
