Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for your query at the HCM.
I understand your concern and situation.
I would like to tell you that the recurrence of outbreak of HSV1 is common in the first year of infection. But the symptoms are milder and may include tingling or shooting pains in the legs, hips or buttocks, which occur hours to days before the eruption of herpetic lesions. So recurrence can be on same site or other. The duration of recurrence infection is shorter and less severe. Although the infection can stay in the body indefinitely, the number of outbreaks tends to decrease over time. Recurrences and subclinical shedding are much less frequent for genital HSV-1 infection than for genital HSV-2 infection. If you come in contact of HSV 2 infected individual you may contract and there is slightly higher risk. Correct and consistent use of latex condoms can reduce the risk of genital herpes.
Hope I answered your query.
Rating and review will be appreciated.
