Question : My friend has a problem with her shoulder.It is itchy ,has pins + needles during 70% of the day.At night ,in the heat it is worse.It actually wakes her up at night.An ice pack gives some relief.There are no physical symptoms.
A Dr said it was shingles + gave her sleeping tablets.A nurse said it was a virus in the nerve endings .
Please can you help.

So you are saying it is possible to have shingles without any physical symptoms.
I have had shingles and had many ,many tiny blisters .What is a CBC blood investigation? Could a blood test confirm that yes it is shingles or no it`s not?
