Detailed Answer:
Hi,
The symptoms of appendicitis depend upon the severity of the disease, duration since the disease started, whether treatment is being taken or not.
The classical symptoms of appendicitis in the initial period are:
Pain usually starts in the upper abdomen above umbilicus and then shifts to the right lower abdomen.
There can be associated, fever, nausea, vomiting.
There is tenderness on pressure in the area of appendix.
Some cases can have loose stool and urinary burning.
As the days pass and if the proper treatment is not taken then the severity of all the symptoms can increase and become unbearable, particularly if there is a fecolith that has obstructed the appendicular lumen.
After three days of untreated case can have a lump in the same area and can perforate to cause an abscess.
