What Are The Tests To Be Done During 6 Weeks Of Pregnancy?

Question: At 6 weeks pregnant, will I know if something goes wrong or i miscarry? Is it normal for my breasts not to feel super sore anymore?
Brief Answer:
Yes, with ultrasound pelvis and serial beta HCG
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for writing to us about it.
I can understand your concern, though.
You can go for ultrasound pelvis to know, fetal well being or see whether everything is going normal or not and it shows signs of miscarriage also.
Serial blood beta HCG monitoring is also really helpful.
Breast soreness is not a specific symptom if it disappears, it is not sure that pregnancy is not going well.
Hope it is clear your doubt, feel free to take more questions.
Good luck.

I had a transvaginal ultrasound and the baby measured 3.6mm crown to rump length and had a heartbeat of 111 bpm. But my HCG is only 1651- could this lower number mean impending miscarriage? Are HCG numbers important after an ultrasound shows baby is measuring correctly?
Brief Answer:
In early pregnancy HCG titre may be low.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Sorry for the late response.
I can understand your concern. It is true that HCG titer doubles every 2-3 days during initial pregnancy and increasing titre means baby is developing well. In your instance the HCG titre is within normal range according to gestational age albeit lower side of reference limit.
Further ultrasound report reveal normal baby growth. Therefore I will not be overly concerned and I would repeat the scan after 2 weeks.
Hope it is clear, feel free to ask more.
Good luck.
