What Are The Various Complete Health Checkup Tests?
Question: Hello Doctor,
I am planning to get my annual health check up done, last year I have taken the test which includes test for liver, ECG, treadmill test etc. And everything was normal except the uric acid level and thyroid, I didn't do any follow up tests.
For this year I would like to get a comprehensive test done which can cover all the important things. Could you please recommend some.

It is good that you regular undergo annual health check up but it is very important to know necessary tests to cover all the important aspects of our health.
Complete annual health check up mostly depends on the age of the person which includes,
1) Complete medical history to be given to a physician by person himself.
2) Clinical examination by a physician.(eye check up,respiratory,cardiovascular and CNS system mainly)
3) CBC,ESR,LIPID PROFILE,LIVER FUNCTION TESTS (SGPT and S.billirubin),RENAL FUNCTION TESTS (creatinine and urea),EKG (no need of TMT unless your EKG is not normal),Fasting blood sugar, Urine routine-microscopy examination, Stool Examination.
4) Uric acid and thyroid function tests especially in your case since you said they were not normal last time.
All above investigations are more than enough for annual health check up especially at young age (30 years).
