Brief Answer:
Can be gastroenteritis or irritable bowel syndrome.

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

Most likely you are having chronic gastroenteritis. It is not always necessary that stool test turns out to be positive for bacteria protozoa's and other pathogens.
Chronic gastroenteritis causes inflammation in intestines therefore every moment of intestine would cause pain or spasm. As intestines are inflamed there would be poor water absorption causing stools to be watery.

So what I would suggest you is to get Electral / ORS solution from local store/pharmacy and take at least 200ml after every motion.
Tab Imodium 4mg thrice daily to stop stools.
Any probiotic like VSL#3 can be taken twice daily.
Get a prescription for him-
Cefiximine 200mg twice daily
Metronidazole 400mg thrice daily(would cover bacteria and protozoans also).
Follow up after 5 days

Regards
