Question : I have had spinal stenosis in cervical and lumbar . Then spyondlothesis in lumbar. I had a cervical fusion April 2017 with instrumentation and a lumbar fusion in July 2017. I have been experiencing excruciating pain again in thoracic spine and cervical and lumbar in the last. 6 weeks. Had X-rays and was told that I have Lordosis in lumbar region.

Hello,

The pain that you are having now is likely to be due to a nerve root irritation or compression in the lumbar region. Even after the surgery the gradual degenerative changes in the spine keep on progressing. The medicines like pregabalin and gabapentin with methylcobalamin supplements can help in recovery. Do consult your neurologist for proper prescriptions.
