Question : I am allergic to pen and levaquin.
I have taken zpak without complication.
What can i take for pneumonia

Take azithromycin, linezolid or clindamycin.

Hi,

So you are having allergies to Penicillin (beta-lactam) and Levofloxacin (fluoroquinolone) drugs.

So to avoid the allergic reaction, you can use Azithromycin, Metronidazole, Linezolid or Clindamycin. Better to take Azithromycin and Metronidazole tablet. All these are strictly prescription based medications.

Do warm water gargles 5-6 times and drink plenty of fluids orally.
