What Can Be Done I Have Strep Throat For Almost Two Weeks?

I’ve been have weakness in the legs and arms.
My ESR was 38 and my WBC is 13. Is this all related to strep? My chest x ray was clear.
Yes, can be explained by streptococcus infection.
Detailed Answer:
HI and thanks so much for this query.
I have reviewed your information fully. Your symptoms and course is not uncommon with strep infection. However, it is not clear to me why you have received up to 4 different types of antibiotics. If there are any concerns about the best antibiotics and or diagnosis, I will suggest you get a throat culture to guide in this regard.
Healing is often slow and patients may get frustrated because of this. Unless I have any other reasons to worry, I Will generally educate them on this which often eases the anxiety and helps tremendously.
I hope this guides and helps. I wish you well. Feel free to follow up with me as you please.

It’ll be three weeks on Wednesday and still don’t feel 100%. Just curious with some of labs being out of whacked if my body was getting the proper abx
Please share the lab reports with me.

Hi,
Kindly share the lab results with me. I would like to review and guide. But I believe you have had more than enough antibiotics for a strep sore throat.
Look forward to hearing from you.

Hi,
WBC are expected to be elevated after receiving prednisone. This is not a concern at this time. The ESR is consistent with an acute infectious process.
I wish you well. Keep me updated.

They did an an EKG on 9/26 that said NSR. Poor R Wave progression across the precordium. Is that normal or could be from lead placement?
Poor lead placement
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Poor lead placement is the Most common reason for poor r wave progression. The first step is always to repeat the EKG. There is nothing to worry about here.
I wish you well.
