Question: We took 2 month old newborn to wedding. Music was very loud so after 10-15 minutes we left. I am worried because we were sitting beside the large speakers. Is there going to be permanent hearing damage to the baby?

A small exposure to loud music is unlikely to have a permanent damaging effect on the newborn hearing. However if in confusion, you may get a newborn hearing test (called OAE) done. If the report is normal, you will know that you have nothing to worry about.
