Brief Answer:
Get a repeat colonoscopy

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
I have read your query.
Firstly, Bowel cancer can progress drastically in 4 years, i.e. from stage 1 to stage 4. If it was stage 1 4 years ago, it would be stage 4 now.
Secondly, you have not mentioned whether the earlier scopies showed any cancer or were they normal. I am assuming they were normal.
Thirdly, if you have passed blood in the stools, then you should get yourself examined by a cancer surgeon. He will perform a proctoscopy (examine the lowermost bowel) to see if there is a local cause for the blood like piles. If there is a cause, then he will treat it, if there is none, then you should undergo a colonoscopy to examine the entire colon.
I hope this answers your queries. If there are any more, I would be happy to answer them.
Take care.

thankyou , all was clear 4 years ago , no cancer as stated in initial question , but I assume from your answer that 4 years is sufficient for cancer to spread go from non existent to stage 3 or 4 ?
thankyou

Brief Answer:
You are welcome. See an oncosurgeon

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Am glad that I answered your query satisfactorily.
Your assumption is right. 4 years is sufficient time although it does not mean that you have cancer.
So meet a cancer surgeon and get a colonoscopy done if there is no local cause for the bleed.
If you have no more queries kindly rate the answer and close the thread.
Take care.
