Question : Hi , I am experiencing a " film " ( not visible ) on my right eye. It almost appears like a string
of dots in my field of vision . Not painful , but slightly blurry. Right eye only , just came on.
Did not wash out when I attempted to wash it YYYY@YYYY

Brief Answer:
Floaters/string of dots.

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

If the onset was acute/sudden then vitreoretinal degeneration and traction should be ruled out especially if it was associated with flashes of light.

Fundoscopy, intraocular pressure measurement and OCT (Optical Coherence Tomography ) can be advised as part of the workup in consultation with an ophthalmologist or retina specialist preferably.

Regular follow up for progression of these floaters can be sought as well.

Hope I have answered your query.

Wishing you the best of health.
