Brief Answer:
Dental problems possible

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

Usually TMJ pain is due to arthritis which can occur due to malocclusion of teeth, emotional stress and trauma.

It is advisable to visit a Dentist and get a thorough check up to look for the same.

Treatment options are varied. Pain killers and steroid shots usually are enough in mild cases.

I hope I have answered your query.

I will be available to answer the follow-up queries.
