Question : What can cause body tremors? Three nights ago I was woken up by internal tremors to my trunk. Last night it woke me up with a tingling sensation to both arms.
Brief Answer:
A number of conditions to consider.
Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to 'Ask A Doctor' service.
I have read your query and here is my advice.
One reason for body shaking may be an infection (bacterial, viral, etc.).
In such cases, other symptoms such as fever, malaise, etc. are present too.
Other conditions that may cause shaking or tremors include those neurological such as peripheral neuropathy, multiple sclerosis, etc.
In a number of cases, there is no underlying condition, and symptoms are self-limiting.
If your symptoms repeat or get worse, it is advisable to see your Doctor.
Hope you found the answer helpful.

Isn't it unlikely to have MS at 63?
Brief Answer:
It's very rare to have MS at this age.
Detailed Answer:
Welcome back.
It is true that the majority of the MS patients are diagnosed at the second and third decade of life, but it can occur in persons of any age.
However, I mentioned it just as a possibility, and don't think yours as a typical MS case.
If your symptoms persist, do see your Neurologist for a thorough evaluation.
Hope this helps.
